Frost. June 26th.

The pictures below speak for themselves.

We do have frosts here but this one was extreme. Ice everywhere.

I had to break the ice in the dog dishes so they could drink, even at about 9am.

And I had to dig out the long johns, balaclavas and leg warmers, and keep the fire stoked up all night.

We usually only get severe frosts in spring so it was unusual.
